1. Hawa Mahal
Hawa Mahal ‘The Palace of Winds‘ is one of the most famous palace in Jaipur. It is one of the best place from all the places to visit in Jaipur. Hawa Mahal is made up of red and pink sand stones. Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh built this fort in 1799. It is famous for its unique structure which looks like honey comb with 953 small windows called Jharokhas.
This structure allows cool air to pass through and making whole Mahal pleasant during high temperature. Main thing to see here is the architecture of previous time, which includes stone carved screens, small casements, and arched roofs.
2. Amer Fort
This is another one of the most famous forts in Jaipur located in Amber, 11 km from Jaipur. Raja Maan Singh made it in 1592. The fort made up of red sandstone and marble which has influences of both Hindu and Muslim architecture. Moatha lake adds a certain charm to its beauty. This fort has Shila Devi’ temple and the Ganesh Pol’ which is a gate that leads to the private palaces of kings.
The fort has four different parts each with a separate entrance. The Suraj pol or Sun gate which opens in the main courtyard is actually east facing with respect to the rising sun is the source of its name.

3. Jaigarh Fort
Popular tourist attraction Jaigarh Fort located on the hills of Eagles. Sawai Jai Singh II was built this Fort in 1726 It is 500 feet above sea level offers panoramic views of the surrounding. This fort is famous for the world’s largest cannon on the wheels which is known as ‘Jaivana Cannon’. The other attraction factor of this fort is Lakshmi villas, Lalit Mandir, Aaram Mandir, and Vilas Mandir. This fort covers an area of 3 km. It is made by sandstones for the purpose to protect Amer Fort and Jaigarh Fort. This fort is also known as the victory fort. Amer Fort was a storehouse for all the war armors, cannons and ammunition.
The main attraction point for tourists is to see the windows which are made of lattices which gives the complete view of the exteriors. Their tourists can also see the garden of the Persian style.

4. City Palace
It is one of the Best Places to Visit in Jaipur. Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in the year 1727, constructed it. This palace is spread over a large area occupying one-seventh of the old city of Jaipur. It reflects the fusion of Mughal and Rajput architecture. This palace constitutes gardens, buildings and courtyards, temples and museums which give a grand view and magnificent royal grace to the palace.
The present king and the queen are still live here and also give their contribution to the decoration of the city in every festival like Diwali etc.
The palace can be visited between 9:30 AM to 6 PM

5. Nahargarh Fort
It is built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, the king of Jaipur, in 1734 and located at the edge of Aravali hills. It is also known as ‘Abode of Tigers’. This fort is connected with Jaigarh by extended walls over the surrounding hills. Jaipur museum is another attraction built on the left side of the entrance of Nahargarh fort.
This museum has more than 35 wax statues of persons from the field of sports, Bollywood, freedom fighters, Sawai Ram Singh, Maharaja Jai Singh, etc.
This fort can be visited every day from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

6. Jantar Mantar
It is an astronomical observatory used to measure the distances and positions of planets, satellites and Sun. Jantar Mantar is the largest among the five observatories in India. It consists of nineteen large instruments for specific purposes which are still working as they did in the past.
This place is basically for those persons who have so much interest in architecture as well as in astrology. Initially it was made out of wood as a trial for measurements. After everything was adjusted, it was replicated in stone.
