Charminar, Hyderabad is in the list of World Heritage sites of UNESCO. It is a tourist spot that reflects Hindu-Islamic architecture. Laad Bazaar is located near Charminar. It is also known as Choodi Baazar. In this bazaar appearance of tourist are more than the local people. You will see the crowd here every time you visit because of small lanes in the bazaar. This bazaar is quite famous for bangles, semi-precious stones, pearls, unbranded clothes, saris and handwoven materials of silk and cotton, traditional Khara dupattas, lacquer bangles, and perfumes.
This is a historic masjid built partly with bricks made from soil brought from the holy city of Mecca. Mohammad Quli Qutub Shah, founder of the Hyderabad personally laid the foundation stone and planned the city around this mosque. It is believed that there is a presence of Prophet Muhammad’s hair in one of the rooms in the Mosque. The distance between Charminar and Mecca Mosque is 200 meters approx.
